Busy Saturday

We had another busy Saturday. Then again, most of our Saturdays are busy these days. Let's see... We all got up fairly early today. Cris took Tyler to catch a ride to his football game. (They have to be there 1 1/2 hours before the game). Once Cris came home, we (Cris, the girls & I) went to Zech's soccer game. It was cold and misting and wet. Only Zech and a few of his teammates were actually at the field. The coach wasn't even there! (Apparently, he didn't realize the team had a game) We waited for about 15 minutes and decided to leave since we had to drive to Nolensville, TN for Tyler's football game. As we were leaving, Zech's team had 6 players and Zech's mom was going to coach the team. They were about to the begin the game. Cris called later and found out that Zech's team lost 6 - 2. But Zech said that he made a goal - so that was good. The last few games they haven't even scored at all.
Tyler's football game was supposed to start at 11:00 a.m. and we made it just in time. Well . . . we were on time, but the other team wasn't. On Friday night, we found out that the game time had changed. Once we got to the field on Saturday, we found out that apparently the opposing team didn't know about the time change. So we had to wait until 12:30 p.m. to start the game. Thankfully, the weather had cleared up and it ended up being a pretty nice day. The boys won the game!!!! This is only the 2nd game they have won, and it was against the same team. (Unfortunately, the opposing team haven't won a single game.) The boys played really well and the final score was
28 - 0. Next weekend begins the playoffs & the bad news is that we play the best team in the league. :(
The rest of the day was pretty normal. After dinner we played a board game with the kids. It was fun, but it took a long time. Now the house is blessedly quiet with all of the kids in bed. YEAH!!
