I joined Melissa and Emma at the pediatrician’s office at 9:00 for Emma’s nine month checkup. She is in perfect health, and of average height and weight. Her head, on the other hand, is in the 93rd percentile! As a precaution, we went ahead and had the nurse give her a flu shot against the coming flu season. She will have to go back in a month for a booster. She took it relatively well.
Our evening was fun. Zech had a soccer game at 5:00, so Melissa, Emma and I went to that. Therese joined us there too. It seems that the team is not performing at its best, since they lost 0-5. It was a very disappointing game – none of the kids that I have seen from last year – including Zech – are performing at their best.
