Happy Easter!
We actually celebrated our Easter on Saturday this year because the kids were with their other parents on Easter morning. We woke up to Easter baskets. Once all of the kids were up, we went about hiding eggs for an egg hunt. It was unbelievably cold this year (below freezing) so we had to have our egg hunt inside. The girls went first. When they were finished, the boys had their turn. Then, the kids hid Easter eggs for Cris & me to find. I have to say it was pretty funny. They got really creative in hiding the eggs. I'm afraid we will be finding them for the rest of the year.
Other news.... Kyla had her pre-season baseball tournament this past week. Her team did really well, but lost in the championship game. We almost froze to death that evening. It was actually snowing!! Alot of the kids had their coats on. Kyla got two hits but got out on first base both times.
Zech's soccer team isn't doing as well as they did on the first game. They've had 3 - 1 win & 2 losses. Cris is helping coach his team. I think he is really enjoying it. It's a way to participate and to spend a little more time with Zech.
That is really about it. Life is about to get even busier so we'll have all sorts of news before long. Hope everyone is well and having a wonderful Easter!
