We took our little goblins to the west side downtown trick or treating. The city closes a few of the streets in the downtown area and the merchants pass out candy. It's a great way for the kids to trick-or-treat and it's safe. They had fun. Emma really, really got into this year. She started counting down the days on Monday. After we got done trick-or-treating, we headed over to the Harvest Fest which is hosted by the River Community Church. They have it at the Leslie Town Center. There are games, face painting, food, hay rides and lots of candy. Another fun & safe way to spend Halloween.
