We haven't gone anywhere - just been busy. Nothing horribly exciting has been happening.
The kids are all good. They have been doing good in school and have stayed busy with all sorts of extra-curricular activities. Kyla has been playing a fall season of baseball. She is doing well & has improved a little since the spring. Zech is involved in soccer. His coach is very impressed with him - especially since he is on the young end of his particular soccer league. Tyler isn't involved in any sports at the moment. He is a little more involved in band activities. Lately he's (the band) been playing at football games. Basketball sign-ups are next month & all 3 are playing. Emma is good. She is very definitely in her terrible twos. We've been trying to get her potty-trained, but she isn't the slightest bit interested. We keep hoping that she will just all of a sudden decide to use her potty.
Cris & I are good too. Many of you will know, but for those that don't, I am now working. I am working as an assistant for a friend of mine. I work Monday - Thursday in the mornings. It's great! I've been working for about 3 weeks. It is nice to be working & to be getting out of the house. Cris has been really busy at work too. The past week has been particularly difficult. It feels like we have barely seen each other between work & the kids' activities.
One other tidbit - we will be having Zech with us more. We've talked about it for a while & Cris talked to Zech's mom last week. She agreed & was ok with it, so Zech will now be with us every Thursday, Friday and every other Saturday. It is exactly like my schedule with the kids except for Wednesdays. We are very excited about this!
Anyways - just wanted to let you all know that we are still here - just haven't had any good news to share.
